Will the following group of "components" work succesfully together:
Fb 1.5 Super Server
Run Instclient to generate compatible GDS32.dll
Delphi 5 Pro
Jeff Overcash's IB Express V5.04

My reasoning is that I am moving from a desktop scenario to CS and
have waded through a lot of information on IB, FB and SQL recently and
now need to put it into practice (before I forget half of it - maybe
too late) and need to get up and running to experiment and learn more.
Pretty much all of the stuff above is well documented and examples are
available for using IBX and IB.
My problem comes with the interface between Delphi and FB as this is
obviously significantly different in CS applications so I would like
to stick to the well documented IB Express rather than look at third
party components at this time (I am not qualified to choose between
one or the other at this early stage).

Is this feasible? Possibly using the GDS32 "clone" may have
repurcussions (if not now maybe in future FB releases) but I am
willing to live with this short-term if the above combination will work.
