Hello,
I want to install Firebird as a non-root user, because I'm not root of
the machine I try installing it.
I searched around the website and the web for information but I didn't
find anything useful. This list's archive isn't accessible for me,
because it asks me to sign in but I don't want to sign up to yahoo.
I took a brief look at the install.sh script, but I'm not sure whether
this is the best place to do the changing.
So does anybody know a way to install Firebird running under a user?
It should work for new releases of Firebird. I'm using Linux.
Bye,
Jens
