I have a new client who wants to install our Interbase application on a
server with the database stored on an attached Storage Area Network (SAN).
I'm not familiar with this SAN technology and don't know whether this would
be considered a local physical disk to the IB server machine.

I would appreciate any advice from those who have experience or knowledge of
this.
