The theoretical limit at the moment seems to be 10000 pages as you
noticed. Although, it might also depend on your memory configuration
and usage. You might also find that a lower number might be even
faster. The removal of this limit is being worked on for FB 2.0,
because the design of the cache manager is being reviewed to be
improved. But don't ask me when FB 2.0 will be ready, because it's not
even in alpha stage yet.
