I am using the odbc driver, cause at the moment the data at the moment is on
a M$ SQL server, and we are in the process of migrating to firebird sql,
And I want to keep my scripts as portable as possible
I just created a dsn, in odbc administrator, and in my php script I just
call the dsn,

PHP using odbc driver?

How are you trying to use the odbc driver in PHP.
PHP uses the ibase_connect command to make a connection, and you will
find lots of help on that in the firebird-php list
