Hi,

I'm having problems getting fbembed to work properly in linux.. I put the
fbembed.so.1 in my app directory... ldd output shows that my app is using
that fbembed.so.1.. but somehow, i still need to have the isc_* files in
the /opt/firebird directory.. If i try to remove the /opt/firebird directory,
it fails to load firebird.. i know it's using the fbembed.so.1 as i no longer
need access to security.fdb and i can use a database without
username/password..

The question is, what are the necessary files that I'll have to distribute
with my app and where do i need to place them.. it was my understanding that
all i needed to run fbembed was to put the .so file in the correct place..

I've even tried copying over firebird.conf from /opt/firebird and editing the
ROOTDIR to point to my app dir but it still requires the isc_* files from
the /opt/firebird directory..

Any pointers anyone?? i'm using FB1.5 final release...
