hi,
i am new to firebird. recently, i have downloaded firebird 1.5 for
win 32 to try out.
i have two files firebird-schema.sql and firebird-initdata.sql. in
MS SQL, i run the schema file, then only the initdata file to create
my database. it is fairly straightforward to do so as we have query
analyzer in MS SQL. but the problem is, i am switching to linux now,
and i found firebird very suitable. and i would like to use the same
db as i have used in windows.
can anyone help with creating the .gdb files so i can run it on linux
with firebird.
thanks, help appreciated
