I have just downloaded and installed Firebird (Windows 1.5.0.4306)
and am having problems getting the Firebird Manager to work.
I keep getting a "Firebird server is not installed on your computer"
message, while it obviously is. I had the same problem with the
FbConfigManager, but using the readme I managed to solve that by
supplying the config file name as a parameter on the command line.
This didn't help for the Firebird Manager (fbmgr.exe). Putting it in
the C:\Program Files\Firebird\Firebird_1_5 (where the conf file
lives) or its bin subfolder didn't help...
The zip I got from SourceForge for the Firebird Manager unfortunately
only contains the exe and a cpl file. The latter gives the
same "server not installed" message...
What am I missing here?
Thanks, Marjan
