We have very recently put up a new application that allows users to search
both the Firebird Development and Firebird Support lists on the IBPhoenix
Web Site. This replaces an older application, that was, although functional,
not good enough.
The lists can be searched by keywords, which presents the various messages,
for any message, you can see replies, or the whole thread.
There is also a forwards and backwards mecahnism to move through the thread
based on replies to a specific message.

Its still "under development", but I hope people find it useful. Some of the
messages are not properly formatted, but that can be corrected out over time
as and when they are found.

So, if you find an unformatted message, send me the id (off list) - you will
see it in the URL, and I'll fix it.
Other comments and feedback are much appreciated, also off list.

The devel list currently contains about 20,000 messages, from when it was
originally started up until the beginning of February 2004.
The support list contains over 32,000 messages.

If anybody has the other lists in mbx format that they are happy to send to
us, we can add them to the searchable archive.

Any congratulations, flowers etc should be be sent to both Pavel and Cisar
and I since we are both responsible for the work.
We also have the same lists in a searchable firebird database, for which we
will be designing a suitable front-end. And will probably add this to the
IBPhoenix Developer CD.
