It's quite possible. All one can say is -- try it. If you find the
problem goes away with Classic, you can reasonably conclude that SS won't
work with HT on that particular BIOS. It takes exactly three minutes at
calm speed to clean-uninstall SS and install Classic (and vice versa). I
know this because I have been doing it all afternoon (repeatedly!) :-)
