No I haven't yet, but before I do I would like to run some tests (as
many test as I can, thanks). I think I ran into "create database"
problems too. I assumed port 3050 was opened by default. What good
does adding aliases do? And my database extension ends with a FDB and
not GDB? Does that matter? I think the connection string is valid,
what I need to do is make a database and a table. Insert and then
access it locally and remotely. I would really like to get going on
this. Thanks for your help so far. Dan I will try an ODBC connection
too. I added one table so far and changed my password. I also have
EMS manager running.
