Installed FB 1.5 because XP Pro introduced the System Restore .gdb fun.
FB 1.5 installed on the XP Pro box OK. I accepted the gds32.dll legacy option.
Oddly, I cannot connect to the fdb (a gdb renamed) on the XP box but I can from other pcs on my network which have IB installed. FBConfigManager on the XP box says Firebird is not installed?? But under services the FireBird server and Guardian are running?? Thanks.
