Well, at least one of the services cannot start.

Yes. But you need to specify the connection port in your
Firebird application when connecting to a database.

Whatever. As long as it's free. There's a special section
in the Firebird release notes about running a second or
non-default instance of Firebird on a different port. Read
it.

Oh sure, and it just breaks compatibility with all existing Firebird
