Is there a way to install Firebird 1.5 guaranteeing that it will run
independently of a standard installation (and run concurrently) ? For
example renaming the services and changing the ports to run on. I would
need this to happen on Linux and Windows. Could anyone tell me how I
would go about doing this?

Any advice would be appreciated.
