I need to change (rather fix) the RemoteAuxPort that Firebird uses.
If I make the changes to Firebird.conf on the server, does the client
need to know about this, or, will it use the RemoteServiceName to
connect and then determine the correct ports to use?

Firebird v1.5 RC8 SS, Win NT4sp6. BCBv5 with IBObjects.
