How about:

Firebird Database Server - www.firebirdsql.org

The service name itself doesn't indicate that Firebird is a database
server. At the same time, the description ought to be short because
it's mostly displayed in a rather narrow column. A description like
the above tells the user immediately what Firebird is, and where s/he
can learn more about it.

And for the Guardian something like:

Firebird Server Guardian - www.firebirdsql.org
