hi all.

after a quite long time i could go back to use firebird; the first thing
was updating from vers. 1.0 to 1.5 rc8.
some change in directories and in name of the security db were not a
problem; but i got a surprise when i found that i was no more able to
connect with old databases, getting error -502 and messages about a
supposed lack of permissions (i'm using fedora core 1) from isql. then i
moved the db to the same disk as / and the problem was solved (before it
was in a different hard disk, but in the same pc). something too
strange. i disinstalled 1.5 (installed via rpm) and went back to 1.0:
the problem disappeared.
someone has got similar problems, or has a great idea for me?
