I have a batch file that is kicked off each night by the Windows
scheduler. In simple terms, it runs a backup, checks the ERRORLEVEL for 0,
runs a restore, checks the ERRORLEVEL for 0, then run gfix -v -f just to
make sure everything is ok.
This morning, I found that although the backup seems to have completed
successfully (according to the gbak log), it returned an ERRORLEVEL of
9009. I manually ran a restore of these backup files, and the restore
worked as well.
I can find no mention of a 9009 return value from GBAK. Can someone explain?
