I have tried many variations of the commit. Every 10 records to every 10,000
records. I really did not notice an extreme difference. Slowest was 50 tps
and the peak is 300 tps. The execution of the stored procedure seems to
autocommit. Correct me if am wrong.

You probably already thought about this, but when you are using the ADO
layer, did it autocommit for you or were you doing a hard commit every
500-1000 records?
Sorry I couldn't be more help, I'm new to IB/FB myself :)
