Well, at least you should have long ago have migrated to FB 1.0.3 even if it were only for the sake of patched bugs. There should be no compatibility problem, AFAIK.

The other things you mention...i had no problem with IBX+FB1.0.3, but yes, i didn't play with it that much before i left the world of Object Pascal :)

Concerning GDS32.DLL, the old one should work with FB1 (although i might be wrong), but FB1.5 has definitely an install option for installing an old-apps-compatible GDS32.DLL - although there were some issues with RC 7 or RC 8 recently, it should work. You could probably just copy it to the client machines and it would work...

BTW Isn't the hardcoded login+password backdoor still there in 6.0 OS InterBase? If so, it's definitely a reason to migrate away :)
