Hi
When we used FB version 1.5.1 on a Win2003 server we every once in a
while got a situation where a users machine (or session on a Citrix
Server) crashed (not because of Firebird).
But hereafter the user was still connected to the Firebird DB
eventhough his session was gone.
Using Firebird 1.5.0 never does this.
But all in all, this is not my question.
What can I do when a user is connected to a DB eventhough this users
machine or session is gone ?
As it is now, I can't shutdown the DB or firebird or restart the
server sinse a lot of other people still are connected and using it.
At this point, we had to call all clients connected and ask them to
disconnect while we restarted the serve (or at least Firebird).
But in the future I would like to know if I can do anything else to
solve this problem.
Regards
Michael
