No, at the moment it isn't possible.

Permissions! Make sure that the server where the database resides does not
allow anonymous access to all folders/drives etc, if your using windows
remove the ANYONE user from folder permissions, install under a user created
just for FB, make sure that only the user account used to run firebird has
permissions to r/w/x on the paths where databases are stored.
