hello
I am using a firebird 1.5.1 embedded server.
There is one problem that i am facing while taking backup from gbak
i am running gbak from my application calling it and passing all the
params to it. but the backup is not taken now when i run the programm
from the prompt the message comes as "DATABASE UNAVAILABLE" but when i
start the service the backup works fine.
Now My question is, Is Firebird service required to take backup by
gbak? is there any other way by which i can acomplish this task.
Please give me your quotes
I have all the files required to run the firebird embedded server and
gbak such as fbembed.dll, fbclient.dll and other udf files along with
the dir structure
