This is a platform issue - we don't have any ports for ppc yet. If you
feel you are up to doing this port yourself, feel free to post on
firebird-devel for advice. Nickolay Samofatov has already indicated his
willingness to assist, see this URL:

The contest is over now, but I haven't heard whether anyone took up the
