We have a client who has been running Firebird Server 1.5 for some time on her Win 2000 Small Business Server. After a restart at the weekend Firebird will no longer run as a service. It now insists on running as an application and gets really upset if your try to tell it to be a service - really upset!

There has been no change in login profiles.

What could have caused the change in attitude?
