This is odd. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

The firebird control center has a 'X' through the firebird logo, and
the button says start, but the label says "The Firebird Service is
running".

I had an error message that the connection was closed which is why I
went to investigate. The start button does nothing.

Windows 2003 Server, Firebird 1.5 running in Service mode.

Restarting Firebird didn't solve problem.

Any ideas? Could it be a security setting or missing files?
