OtTomH:
* Make a backup of your databases.
* Uninstall current Firebird.
* Install new Firebird.
* Restore the backups.
Note:
If the current version uses "isc4.gdb" you will need to rename the restored
version to "security.fdb".

Note 2:
I've only upgraded Windows versions myself!
