Where <new password> is the password you would like to apply to the SYSDBA
account.
Note: Only the first 8 digits of the password are relevant, if when
changing the password the length of the new password is greater than 8
characters then you will see the following warning:
'Warning - maximum 8 significant bytes of password used'
This warning can be safely ignored.
As for localhost, what happens if you use 127.0.0.1?
