Hello,

One of my customer wants an inventory system for his
retail shops. At present there are 7 shops and it is
located at various places across a city which has 2300
sq. km. This is going to be setup on a leased
dedicated DSL line.

This is first time I going to work on a WAN setup.
The software is ready and uses Firebird 1.5 with
wxWindows at front-end using IBPP. And we are planning
Linux for the server side.

I need advise on selecting the server machine and
other things. I don't know what and all I require for
this project, please help.
