I am upgrading a client from IB5.6 to FB1.5. Last night their regular
Sunday night rebuild (backup and restore) took place with the restore taking
one hour on a 4 gig database. After installing Firebird 1.5, the FB restore
from the same .gbk is taking 3.5 hours and is still not quite done (3.9
gig). Is this typical for an IB to FB conversion to take this long? The
backup was done with the -Transportable switch on.
