I have tried using FB command line tools gstat, gfix, gbak on a Win
XP SP2 client connected to the FB host, a Win 2003 Server. gstat
seems to work OK. Both gfix and gbak (with the simple -b switch)
give "unavailable database" error.
When working on the Win 2003 server there is no problem. The entry
lines I used were correct.
I tried entering -user and -password on the command line and by
setting ISC_USER and ISC_PASSWORD.
All cases were done as the administrator with their password.
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Russel Belding
