What I have found to my level best is this,

"gfix -shut -force 0 dbname"

Can u do more favor by suggesting the exact documentation ?

I would like to do it programattically. The command which I
found is suggesting to connect to database using ISQL in
DOS Mode. If there is any way to fire these commands
using any IBO/IBX components pl suggest me the way.
