In the roadmap it is said that Vulcan will be the base code for FB 3.
And, that the features that were added to FB 2.0 will be integrated
into the Vulcan code to form FB 3.0.

And, there has been some instability issues with IB7's SMP support.
They mention that IB8 will be more SMP compliant, so that makes you
wonder about IB7.
