Just in case, can you make absolutely sure you're using the right firebird client libraries for the
firebird server version you're using? We experienced high-cpu conditions when using either ib6 or
fb1 client libraries with fb1.5 -- I'm not sure which old libraries were the problem, but updating
them seemed to fix everything. If the versions aren't matched, can you please let us know what
updating the libraries does for you (solve/not solve)?
