* Dave's collations are considered Beta version. Final was planned
to be cheap (i.e. not completely free).

* I can't speak about other languages, but Dave's Czech collations are not completely
diacritic-insensitive. (approximately, they are accent-insensitive, caron-sensitive)

* It is not that difficult to write yor own collation driver (if you know what you want)
