Hi all,
I would like to automate the backup of the various fb db I have got on
my Linux box.
I would like to automate
- backup
- restore to another directory (to make sure that the backup can be
restored) with the option Verbose and route all message to a pipe and
then with a grep look for any error messages (if so I should receive
an email ...)
- real backup to tape afterwards if no errors where found
that's not difficult to set up but I am wondering if ALL errors
messages in gbak do have the word ERROR or if I should be looking to
some other words (e.g. warning or else)
any idea ?
Thanks in advance
Didier
