Hi all,
I haven't read somewhere (at least I can't remember anymore *g*) that
BLOB data can be compared in a trigger via the NEW/OLD context variables
and the <> operator now. That seems to work with Firebird 1.0 and 1.5.
As I haven't found any reference for that neat feature in the
Sourceforge tracker, Release Notes or whatever, I thought I'd better
ask if someone knows if this is "officially" supported now or if it
is something unreliable one shouldn't depend of, especially when
using binary blobs.
I'm sure this isn't possible with IB 4.x/5.x/6.0. Does somebody
know if it is supported in IB >= 6.5 as well?
Thank you,
Thomas Steinmaurer
