I added "localhost" to etc/hosts.equiv and reboot.

After that, the server has been working the whole day without
problems, so I could not reproduce the error message.

Anyway the message was something like "cannot connect to xx.xx.xx.xx".

Both WISQL and TIBODatabase would return a similar message.

Other than adding "localhost" to /etc/hosts.equiv do you have further
suggestions ?
