Hello All,
I'm having a typical behaviour which I'm not able to find out as to what would be the cause of this behaviour.
The firebird server is up and running, and there are two threads continuously updating records. Since there is fairly amount of code in the trigger applied on the target table, it takes some time so that next query(update or select) experiences those changes.
When an update query is executed, before a transaction finishes, I execute gstats.exe. I get some transaction numbers(OIT, OAT, NT, etc.). If I execute gstats again, these numbers most of the time increases but sometimes decrease as well. I can understand about the increment, but not very much sure about the decrement, though not very common.
Does anyone has any idea regarding this?
Thanx,
Mahesh.
