If you go back and look at recent posts about the .net provider you'll
see a post that the current .net provider doesn't support the embedded
server, and that the next .net provider is waiting on the release of 1.5
but will have embedded server support.

There shouldn't be any reason why they couldn't code an wrapper in C++
using the IBPP, then access that through VB.
