Hi Helen:
Thanks for your time among your new book routines.
I mean you are saying to disconnect from the database and reconnect.
If it is so I already did that.
For example I inserted data in the table thro IBExpert as follows
id dept name active
----------------------------
0 Apparels Y
1 Hometextiles Y
2 Cosmetics Y
3 Groceries Y
4 Womens Y
5 Sports Y
Thro Eclipse I did
id dept name active
-----------------------------
0 Apparels Y
1 Hometextiles Y
2 Cosmetics Y
3 Mens Y
4 Video Y
I committed each transaction in both application and closed both application.
The next time I opened the application and connected to the server again I get the same data, same thing happens with MS Access too.
Version Details:
Windows XP Home
Firebird-1.5.0.4201_RC8-Win32
Type 4 JCA/JDBC Driver for Firebird
