We're working on a Kylix/Firebird system with Firebird 1.0.3 on a linux
box. Recently the company got a new AIX machine and it was suggested we
might try putting the new database on there with the commercial system
which supplies a lot of it's data.
I've seen there is a release of Firebird 0.9.4 for AIX packaged on the
ibphoenix website but I'm wondering why there isn't a more recent build
in circulation. Are these build's opportunistic and provided by users or
is there something preventing building Firebird for AIX.
The box is still being prepared for going online really so I'm not
currently in a position to try building Firebird myself.
