Hello:

I have what I believe is a basic question:

I'm trying out FIBPlus's DBVirtualTree and it comes with a test file,
IB_Tree.gbk.

How do I convert this gbk file to a GDB file? (I'm a newbie with IB/FB,
having used it only for local data with a medical device, and I thought
one uses GBK files with their own GDB files for backup and recovery.)
Simply renaming the file did not work.

(I notice that they use nothing but GBK files in their distributions.
What is that all about? Why not just include the GDB?)
