It is bad form to email your problems to developers privately, unless they
invite you to.
Join firebird-devel. This is the Firebird database software engineer's lab
and shouldn't be used for general support questions. However, for your
particular questions about OS/NOS-specific problems for a relatively
marginal platform, it is OK.
