Remember guys, this is FreeBSD...

You don't have to find pre-compiled binaries, source, or anything!

That's what the ports tree, and package management systems were built for.

To install a pre-compiled binary of a package, without searching for a
download, do the following:

pkg_add -r firebird

This references the FreeBSD site, and pulls down a binary for your installed
version of FreeBSD, automatically

If you want to build it from source:
`cd /usr/ports/databases/firebird`
`make install`

With FreeBSD, you never have to search for a download.

man packages
man pkg_add
