I appreciate that this post is somewhat off topic for this group but
I wonder if anyone can help me with the following:

I am currently working on a project to develop a data analysis
process using Firebird and I was wondering if anyone had any data
sets (preferably as Firebird backups but really in any format) that I
could use as part of my testing effort? I would really like to get my
hands on as wide a variety of data as possible (non-ASCII character
sets would be particularly useful e.g. ISO8859).

I realise that my request has many obvious problems. To name just a
few: data protection legislation in your locale (e.g. the data
protection act in the UK), commercial sensitivity, privacy issues,
etc, etc...

That being said, if anyone has any data they could share would they
contact me off list at dfb_data@... to prevent further off
topic posts.
