Good question. :-)
I don't know if gfix will do garbage collection as well. I don't know if
that line is wrong or not. :-)
Documentation does not talk about Garbage Collection. It just says 'Forces
an immediate sweep of the database'.
What makes sense to me it's that gfix will just do a sweep. Since it will
touch the records, garbage collection will be done. The question remains:
when?
