In the IB world, you would start IBGuardian (which started IBServer) and you
would stop IBServer (which stopped IBGuardian).. At least that was my
understanding, and it's worked fine.
That doesn't seem to be the case with Firebird... Works mostly, but not all
the time.
What's the official word? Should I simply start and stop the Guardian?
