Hi, I'm checking out FB for the first time, using Firebase Embedded
1.5.0.3744, Delphi7 and IBExpress which came with Delphi (I have the
impression most people think IBObjects is better, and I might give
that a try later).
I have renamed the engine-dll to "gds32.dll", whcih seems is what
IBExpress is looking for. The problem, however, is that I need a
empty database to get started. This I have tried to do with the
interactive SQL-utility, but it can't be created because the DB-
engine is not running. Do I have to start the engine as a service,
even though it's a embedded engine, or what?
