While using the FireBird 1.0 database with a Delphi 6.0
application with dbExpress, we are getting the following errors
occasionally:

"Error reading data from the connection"
"Error writing data to the connection"
"Invalid transaction handle (expecting explicit transaction
start)"

We have failed in identifying any obvious patterns in the
occurence of these errors, so we cannot say if a specific type
of opeeration is causing these errors, or if any of them are
inter-related.

Can someone please throw a light on these two errors: What do
they signify, are they common errors or represent common
pitfalls that we should avoid, and what is the remedial action?
